"I’m very pleased that Governor Ducey has signed my legislation that was requested by a Peoria School Board member. Under current law, individual board member names have to be listed in the voter pamphlet in support of a bond or override election, even if that individual board member voted against referring the bond or override to the ballot.

Under my legislation, individual board members are not required to be listed in support of a bond or override ballot if they voted against placing it on the ballot. This is common sense legislation that I had to negotiate with the Arizona School Boards Association."
