Longtime Marana Mayor Ed Honea
PHOENIX, ARIZONA— Senator Justine Wadsack releases the following statement on the loss of longtime Mayor of Marana, Ed Honea:
"I am truly heartbroken by the loss of a dear friend and mentor," said Senator Wadsack. "Ed was a true public servant and a tremendous leader whose impact on Pima County is incalculable. Ed always listened, he always made time, and he always cared about what was best for others and our community. I'm honored to have known him and to have had the opportunity to work with him. He was truly a pillar in our community. My thoughts and prayers are with the Honea family, his friends, and my fellow residents of Marana."
