Arizona State Senator Carine Werner represents Legislative District 4 and has served in the Arizona Legislature since 2025. She currently chairs the Senate Health & Human Services Committee, serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Education Committee, and is a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Werner has focused her legislative efforts on improving accountability in state agencies, strengthening child welfare systems, expanding access to quality health care, and supporting Arizona families.

Prior to joining the Legislature, Werner was elected to the governing board of the Scottsdale Unified School District, where she has served since 2022.

An immigrant to the United States at the age of 11, Werner is a committed advocate for strong schools, safe communities, and opportunity for Arizona families. As a small business owner, she and her husband operate a real estate consulting firm, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, and working families.

Werner and her husband have three children and live in Scottsdale.
