The Goldwater Institute has honored Senator Vince Leach with its 2019 Lifetime of Liberty Award. The public policy research and litigation organization recognized Senator Leach for his focus on free markets, government transparency, low taxes and balanced budgets.
“All of us who care about limited government and constitutional rights owe Senator Leach a great debt of gratitude," said Goldwater Institute President & CEO Victor Riches. "His lifetime of work promoting free markets, government transparency, low taxes and balanced budgets is simply second to none, which is why Senator Leach is so deserving of the Goldwater Institute’s Lifetime of Liberty Award.”
"I am very honored to be recognized by the Goldwater Institute," said Senator Leach. "The people who work at the Institute, those who support it and all stakeholders need to be recognized as well for their work in strengthening our freedoms and supporting the Constitution."
The Goldwater Institute was founded in 1988 and focuses on advancing the principles of limited government, economic freedom and individual liberty, with a focus on education, free speech, healthcare, equal protection, property rights, occupational licensing and constitutional limits.
Senator Leach received his award at the Goldwater Institute Annual Dinner on November 8 at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort.
