MCNARY — In October 2018, a story ran about the STEM program at McNary Elementary School (“Writing code, programming microbits and solving every-day problems,” November 27, 2018). Senator Sylvia Allen saw the article and liked what was happening at McNary Elementary School. She proceeded to invite representatives from the school to come to Phoenix and present their STEM program as part of Sen. Allen’s “Spotlight on School Success.”
